What can we do about it?

The Improve phase of the SSA process addresses the following question about the risks in the system under examination: ‘What can we do about it?’. It involves proposing, detailing and implementing ways to address the risks identified in the Assess phase.

The key activities in this phase are each described on a separate page, together with details of how to do them:

Putting the ‘Improve’ phase into practice

In the Improve phase, one page of the SSA Assessment Form will be completed for each activity: Propose actions, Examine actions, Implement actions and Review assessment.

Examples using these pages can be found in the Improve section of the Section 136 case study.
